Vista Bay Graduate, Chris R.
Completed the Program in 2006
My name is Chris Roberts. Once, not so long ago, I thought that no one could save me. I’d been in plenty of rehabs before: The Salvation Army, Kaiser Permanente, out-patient programs, and even half-way houses. But I was a heavy meth user. Every time I quit was just “down time” until I started up again. I always thought I could get clean, but with each attempt I fell harder and hard into a bottom that I pray nobody else has to experience. I was homeless and only living for the next hit. I came close to killing myself – accidentally and intentionally — many times and still, I didn’t want to get clean. After several insane days on the streets, I knew I had to go to rehab to save my life, or I would die. Today I feel I have accomplished that. I have a faith in myself now that I have never experienced before. I owe it all to VistaBay for saving my life. They helped me feel comfortable with luxuries you won’t find at other rehabs. The technology they teach you and the education you receive is awesome and interesting. I would recommend Vista Bay to anyone.
- Chris R.
I came to Vista Bay in April of '07. I was a drug dealer as well as an addict. I knew the lifestyle I was involved with would either lead me to jail or death.
Not long ago, I honestly thought I was going to die. I was hopelessly addicted to pills, and maybe a few other things. I was so out of it that I really had no idea what I was putting into my body after a while.
