Drug & Alcohol Intervention – Addiction, Abuse, Program and Success
Even if your loved one doesn’t seem willing, there’s still hope.
A common saying in addiction treatment is that the addict cannot be helped with their problem until they admit that they have a problem. However, many people with substance abuse problems seemingly never get the message on their own. In many cases, an intervention is often considered by people who care for them.
- Intervention is an attempt by the friends and family of an addict to get that person to admit they are addicted. It is a chance to make the person see that drugs are ruining their life, and negatively effecting the lives of those who love and care for them.
- Intervention is never easy. It often ends up in a screaming match. It is always difficult and emotional for those closely related to the addict.
We use intervention specialists who are trained to guide the intervention in a productive direction. Addicts are usually willing to go in for treatment on the same day as a VistaBay intervention. Our specialists usually succeed in making the process short, powerful and effective. Our interventionists are proven professionals with a long record of success.
Never give up on a loved one who is addicted to any substance. You can get them to admit they need help – if you have help from us. Call us and ask about intervention services now. Your loved one could be our next success story.
Drug Intervention Success Story
About four months ago I gave up my life and everything that I had for Meth .I had everything I could have wanted — three children, a loving family, and a great future ahead of me. Then, in early 2005 I started using Meth. Within a month, I was addicted.
In April of 2006, my family had an intervention for me. It made me realize that my family knew I had a problem and that I really wanted help. I came to Narconon Vista Bay that same night. I was ready to change my life and I was open to what they had to offer me. From that point on, I knew that they could help me lead the life I wanted.
This program is great. All of the staff and students were excellent throughout my entire time here. This place has become a big part of my life and everyone has made me feel at home since the first day I arrived. They taught me to live a stronger and better life. Narconon Vista Bay offers a way to find out who you really are and informs you of all of the possibilities life has to offer. I could never have discovered that without coming here.
The people I met here will always have a special place in my heart. I can now live the life I’ve always wanted.

I came to Vista Bay in April of '07. I was a drug dealer as well as an addict. I knew the lifestyle I was involved with would either lead me to jail or death.
Not long ago, I honestly thought I was going to die. I was hopelessly addicted to pills, and maybe a few other things. I was so out of it that I really had no idea what I was putting into my body after a while.
